U-Bootmann 1915

    I wasn't sure whether this should go on my v-bench or Ulrich's but anyway here it is. Sculpted by my friend Ulrich Biroth and painted by myself.
    Take a look at Ulrich's v-bench for the orginal photo and sculpting details, here's the end result.

    This is a great little vignette. Very original idea and well-executed both of you! Hope you don't mind, I tampered with your photo a bit. Roger - May I make a suggestion? How about adding some clear semi-gloss to the fish to bring out the watery surface of the fish's skin. Just a little sheen, but not too much.

    Good idea about giving the fish a wet look, I'll get onto it after this beer, no, I'd better wait t'il boxing day :D.

    There must be plenty more naval subjects we can have a go at between us.

    John, Jay & Kenneth, cheers fella's. This was great fun to paint and the cooperation between myself and Ulrich was only possible to due Planet Figure and of course the work I've done with Dan too. :cool:
