    Hello, everyone.:)
I have begun to paint a new figure.

    (U-BOOT 1942 KRIEGSMARINE VERLINDEN 120mm)
I think I can contribute a picture of progress while being close.;)
I was watching only Olympics on television, so I could do nothing.:p
The pace of the painting was being down with me these days.
A new figure is rarely bought, and it has been, so I think I could save money fairly.

Mitsutaka, what a great figure and I look forward to following your progress, one thing that intrigues me is, how are you going to do the groundwork on this one. :)

    Mitsutake,

I have this figure too! One of my favorite from Verlinden! Brings back a lot of warm memories of the early days when ALL I bought were Verlinden figures. There is a thing about their packaging style that resonates an era of figure modelling.

    Look fwd to progress!

    Thank you very much, everyone.

    Hi! Pedro.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I'm a fan of this manufacturer.
It's the most famous garage kit manufacturer for Japanese.
The price is low in Japan.
    Thank you for liking it.;)

    Hi! Ken.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I have no ideas about a ground work.
These figures are troops of a navy, so I can't do a ground work as usual.
I think it ends right now about painting of a ground work.
    Thank you for liking it.;)

    Hi! Marc.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
    I think I'm painting a figure of 30-about 40.
It may be a lot more.
I like a big figure, when this act as a metal model, this become expensive, and I can't buy that any more.
It's also difficult for me to put together.
    Thank you for liking it.;)

    Hi! stefano.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
While being close, it's expected to begin to paint.
I think contribution of a picture will be also done right now.
    Thank you for liking it.;)

    Hi! Mark.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I'd like to paint in order to respond to your expectation.
    Thank you for liking it.;)

    Hello! Michael.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
There are a lot of famous works in an old kit of VERLINDEN, aren't there?
It was when I was a high school student, that I knew existence of VERLINDEN.
His novel painting way was shocking for me.
    Thank you for liking it.;)

    Hi! Tony.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I think it ends in a result of the return, but when would I like to paint as politely as possible?
There is almost no stock of a figure for me.
    Is it about 10 present?
I use to buy only the figure painted certainly as my principle.
    Thank you for liking it.;)

    Hi! Allan.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I like a WWII figure of VERLINDEN, too.
    I'd like to paint pleasantly.
    Thank you for liking it.;)

    Basic paint finished.

    Hello, everyone.:)
I have brought basic painting to an end.;)
I used a hand piece in this stage.
    Paint uses an acrylic gouache.
After this, I'm planning to paint completion by oil paints.
    All comments welcome.:)

Alot of interesting colours you've got going on there Mitsutaka!

Does anyone know who sculpted this large fingered fella for Verlinden?

Don't forget the forage cap should be NAVY blue, IE nearly black, not Tracey Island Thunderbird's are GO! blue!

    Cheers,
    Jon.

    Thank you very much, everyone.

    Hi! stefano.
Thank you very much for your kind comment.:)
This figure is a wonderful sculpting.
So painting tended to do me.
While being close, I'd like to contribute a picture of painting of completion.;)

    Hi! Pedro.
Thank you very much for your kind comment.:)
I think the used color became a lot because I was a soldier of a navy.
Different paint is used in painting of completion, so I think a coloring of a figure will be the one which changed a little.;)

    Hello! Mike.
Thank you very much for your kind comment.:)
I'm making an effort in order to raise the quality of the coat.
    However that's difficult for me.
I'd like to make the work everyone can like as much as possible.;)

    Hello! Jon.
Thank you very much for your kind comment.:)
A sculptor of a kit of old VERLINDEN thinks it's wonderful.
Unfortunately I don't know the name of the sculptor.
OK! I'd like to change the color of the cap.;)

    Hi! Jim.
Thank you very much for your kind comment.:)
Much color was used fairly, so I think it was a little colorful painting.
While being close, I think I can also contribute SBS of painting of completion.;)
