These two figures were delivered this morning - and I'd like to thank Chronos Miniatures for providing me with the opportunity to buy these beauties.
I had a closer look at the castings tonight, and they're absolutely exquisite. As can be seen, they are both individual characters with different poses and very different faces.

Cutting them free of those casting blocks shouldn't present too much of a problem, but I'm really scared at the thought of breaking off those extremely delicate fingers while I'm handling the parts and fixing them in place.
I'll just have to be even more careful than usual during the clean up and assembly process, I guess.

Both are earmarked to be added to my Dungeon of Doom display - as Vampires, but adding tiny fangs without ruining those faces is way beyond my ability, so I'm leaving well alone.
With real-life stuff going on this week, it looks like I won't be able to make a start on them until at least the weekend, but that's okay - and for sure I'll be taking my time while painting these particular figures.
It's certainly going to be challenging to do those excellent castings justice.
:)

Chronos' subjects, sculpting, casting and resin are some of the best in the market right now.
Oda.

Yes, there's no doubt about Chronos Miniatures up there with the leading manufacturers, along with most figures from Altores Studio, and also a fair amount of the Draconia 75mm resin releases.
I began with white metal kits, but have definitely gone over to appreciating resin that little bit more.
Both materials have positive and negative aspects of course, but that's all just part of the challenge - and fun.

Cheers
