Here is fig Iv'e been playing around with for awhile. He didn't have anything on him so put primer on him so he could join the ranks of the long gray line! Actually, the reason he's going up now is to see what you guys think about the setting I have him in. I'll put groundwork under the walk section he's on but not quite sure about the roof section. Do you guys think it's too overpowering? I don't want to take away from the figure but I'm just not sure. In any case, tell me what you think before I move on. I want to hear what you think, what you would have done differently, or how you would have done this.

    Thanks,
    Jim Patrick

Oh yeah, by the way, I cut the rope section out of his hand and inserted a Winchester. Tom Horn's weapon of choice.

    Hey Jim,

Great work on the roof section, I really like it and no, I dont think it is overpowering.

As for the saddle, the poor bastard riding it would have to have some kind of super balance as there is no cinch or back girth! these will be simple to add though. I will attach a pic of the very same saddle but on a horse and you can see the cinch and the girth straps. If you really wanna go to town you could add some fleece or wool to the bottom of the saddle to give it more padding and be easier on the horses back, although I am not sure this was a common practice back then although I would imagine it to be so.

I like it Jim, I don't think it's overpowering at all. This is exactly the kind of thing I like to do.
