    Hi everyone

I recently purchased the Pandour officer from Mookies Miniatures as I liked the subject

Sculpted by Richard Pearce and Brett Harte with the box art as here by Peter Day

    image.jpeg image.jpeg

Based on this in the MAA 280 from Osprey

    image.jpeg image.jpeg

Here's the sculpt before casting ( used Valiant's piccy from his sculpting thread ) image.jpeg

Looking at the Osprey plate it got me thinking ...so ....

Out came the Dremel ..( nothing wrong with the original I hasten to add ...wanted to see how I got on !! )

So over the last 3/4 days ( allowing for drying for the magisculpt and Miliput ) I .....

Cleaned off the lace on the torso .....

Took off the cast on flamme ..

    Angled the sides more ..

Out came the putties ..and shapers with Vaseline handy ..lol ( to work the putty ...lol )

    Added mirleton edging ...

Reworked the hair/ moustache..making it more straggly ..might extend moustache a bit more

    Worked on eyes slightly...

    Completely reworked the fur ..

Reworked the lacework to what you can see ( keeping to a similar style on the chest)

The flamme was resculpted ...currently working on fitting/ edging

    Currently he looks like this:

    image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

with the flamme shaped and drying fully before fitting etc ...later today !

    Stay tuned !

    Shaping up nicely K :)

It looks like he's got a sprig of oak leaves in his Mirlton - since I don't have that particular Osprey book I can't check the notes so care to elucidate us about it?

    Cheers

I've got an oak leaf punch O busty one. The biggest leaves are about 6.5mm long which might be a bit small?
