    Hi Paolo. Thanks. Actually I'm not happy with the photos. They do not show the true potential of the figure. As for the drum skin the base was a mix of off white+English uniform and a dab of black. Thw worn out area was done by stippling the paint from the outside to the inside and letting it dry. Then repeat and narrow the area. Hope this helps

    Hi Xenofon, thanks. You're right but it's just the effect of the lighting. In reality it's not that shiny. It only has a coat of satin varnish.Just a touch not much but it caught the lighting full in the face :lol:

    This has turned out to be one excellent piece. Bad pics or not, it looks brilliant. Nice balance, neat detail and crisp modelling. Oh, and the paint job isn't bad either :lol:
