I've received this from Dan and have made a start. The faces are almost complete just some more highlights and a couple of touch ups. I've given the whole thing a wash with burnt umber acrylic and the uniforms have been started but not much else.

Seb, I'm afraid you will have to wait a few weeks more to see any further progress on this.
I did the faces yesterday and some more today but it's back to work tomorrow afternoon.

Isn’t this an excellent piece of sculpting. It must be both a privilege and a challenge to paint it, and do it justice. Still, I know you are up to it.
