    Hola one and all!

After the move to the far west Texas desert, I really havent done much in form of sculpting. This is one of several cowboy figures I have been wanting to do for quite some time. In reality, it is one that I have had in my head since 2005 or so. It was just now that I got around to doing it, and I am happy to have it out of my 'system'!

The scale is 90mm, which was a first for me, a nice scale to work in! The master was sculpted in Aves Apoxie Sculpt and lead foil (belts, buttons, hat brim etc), the hands and boots were done in Magic Sculp due to its superior carving properties.

I ended up making three heads for it as I could not decide what I wanted to do, bare face, moustache, or a goatee...its the same head, just one of each styles of facial hair!

What you see here is a primed resin casting of it as the white Aves doesnt photograph well at all.

Pictures of the figure in bare resin,

And some of the primed figure, I did a horrible job priming it!

    Hi Anders,

excellent sculpting! The head turned out very good! Why don't you release it in the HELO range?

    Thanks for sharing

Well done! The head looks a bit like Chuck Connors (60s TV series - "The Rifleman").

    All the best,

    Thanks guys!

It was a really fun figure to sculpt. Im not sure that I will paint it anytime soon though as I've got other things that I need to be working on. However, Id like to paint it someday!

It will not be a Helo figure as it is a different market. If anyone is interested in buying the master it may be releases from another company.

    Thanks again guys!
