    Hi guys
this new creation of Officers, during the Crimean war, is one of the famous Regiment of the 93rd Sutherland Highlanders, preparing to receive the charge of the Russian cavalry, at Balaklava.
Using some modified spare parts, I sculpted with putty all the uniform details, I also modified the arms and head .I did hand made hands and all accessories like: the sporran, the. bonnet, kilt, belts, and the haversack. The sword it’s always quite a work apart, and you can draw it from the sheath.
    I painted all with acrylic.

I’ll appreciate and welcome all yours comments

I like the red color. Perhaps the tartan may be more subdued. Try to use "english-uniform" (Vallejo) and do some washes in order to avoid the bright of the tartan. This is IMO.
    Overall nice job!

    Hi Marc
    Thank you for the comment

    Hi Rafael
I must agree with you about the kilt: the blue colour looks too strong and bright (the low natural light also increases a bit the blue tone of the camera).

    Hi Adriano,
What scale is it? I really like you skill with the putty and the paint. Very nice figure.

When viewing this site before I joined you were one of the modellers who truely inspired me with your unique creations. I just loved your Zulu and Boer War creations.

Keep up the great work and hope to see some more of your projects in the future.(y)(y)(y)
    cheers
