    after primer first step is mix acrilic for white. I mix white . ocra . grey . natural shadow j heart we must creat a different base from white of tunic and white of mantlet

    the difference is gived from different quantity of white. I will work with oil so this is only a base but must respecr base color

    after covered with acrilic we can start us oil
    the mix oil is the same I mix white . ocra . grey . natural shadow heart and withe spirit
    important is that the color must be pulled with a flat brush to get a fine surface for subsequent highlights and shadows

    some time the problem is understand well where must be shadows and where must be light, I use this method
    We must do a step behind, after the primer
    I do picture of bust under a zenital light and I print these pictures and I have near paint table so when I go to paint light and shadow I can have a way to search to follow

    I give to all friends my esxcuse for my english and becouse I lost severals pictures for a machine problem but I hope can do some good informations the materials that I will go to post, this is a little schema for withe, base is the shadows in progression we must add the white to the base , final light must be white but o arrive we must do step by step, better wait that oil start dry before repeat step

    here pictures after first progressive white steps, in this moment light is gray but it must became white more steps more white

    metal surface for the moment have black acrilic, for the face base is
    W & N
    pink heart -cobalt blu - yellow ocre - white
    first progressive steps
    light = base + withe and little quantity cobalt blu
    shadows = base + pink heart + cobalt blu
