This is a flat engraved by Franz Karl Mohr 1896-1969 who is widely recognized as the greatest of all flat engravers.
I started it months ago, stripped it twice, started it again, put it on the shelf of other unfinished projects and got it back down yesterday. I'm pleased to say the end is finally in sight.

Nice one Roger, perseverance pays in the end and you've done a good job with the painting.

It's ok I like getting double the praise as it compensates for all the alleged double faux pas I make domestically. I still don't understand why after a motorcycle tour why my wife got upset when I lay down and went to sleep on top of the bed with my boots still on and my cutoff as a pillow...
