    Hello to everyone, :)
I just finished the sculpting of the 7 figures and the construction of the building and it's time now to give life to this creation by adding some color. In this creation I will try some different style of painting like oils insteed of acrylics or different use of the lights. This is because the diorama is not an "open" diorama but more like a semi shadowbox with different source of light. I am very optimistic about the result and I want to share it with you. ;)
The diorama is inspired by a painting from the famous Greek painter N.Gyzis (of the Munich school of art).
In these first photos I am presenting you the painting, the building from the outside and the miniatures primed.
Best regards to all of you,
    Christos.

Here are the photos from the inside building, the first pic is the building painted with a basic acrylic color (buff), the second is with acrylic washes (sepia and black) and the last three photos is the building finished in oils.

    Brilliant,

It is great to see so many historically significant Greek figures from the modern part of Greek history - which is also very rich and colourfull!

    Great Work.

They're wonderful idea and construction, Christos.
An outer wall is the amazing finish already.
I'm convinced that it'll be a wonderful masterpiece.
    I'd like to follow.

    Absolutely stunning already.
    This will be so great.
I look forward to how you handle the lighting effect on the figures. Please keep us all informed on how to make the right mixes to get this effect. I really hope to do a 'painted lighting effect' myself as well once and love to learn from your work.

    Cheers,
    Adrian
