    A very nice David Grieve sculpt crying out for a new jacket and a bugle.
    The horse and tack let the piece down somewhat but it is my first full nag sculpt

    That's a real nice conversion on the original piece ...like the lacework ....patient man!

    The horse may be a little big but I think it accentuates the youth of the figure

    The Milliput and paint was quite a task with my patients stretched to bursting.
    As for the horse, my calculation was for a 65mm scale 15 hands horse not allowing for additional muscle etc. Then again, as you say these boys were very young. That's what I will go with .
