    Hi all,

I have finally finished this Andreas Miniatures, 'The Retreat' 90mm, white metal.
This figure seemed to go on forever due to working myself to death and being nagged to death by my Mrs!

He is painted using acrylic and oil paint. The snow is Andreas Marble Dust and the wooden plinth is something I picked up at Euro. In the photograph, the white of the snow and bandages seems to have over powered any weathering and washes that I have put on him.

Hope you like him, all comments welcome.

    Thanks for looking.
    Sam Brayne

Geeez,I'm feeling cold just looking at this fellow. Great painting and execution on the snow and the whole atmosphere of the figure (y)

Really like how this one has turned out Sam, the cold look on the face is very convincing.

This has turned out very well Sam, have always liked this figure and you have done a great job on its completion. I am working on something similar at the moment and would love to get my face like yours, might have to use yours as guidance I think.

Great looking figure. Looks sufficiently and convincingly cold and miserable. Love it.
