    Happy New Year fellas!
After taking a holiday break I am back on the bench working on my diorama of a battery of British RHA being pursued by French Chasseurs. I had finished building and animating the horses and am now onto building the drivers and the gunner.
I always assemble the figures with Blu Tac to get an idea of how to give movement to the figure.
Once satisfied I begin the process of sanding, shaping and animating the body.
    Here's where I am at.
I also cut off the saddle blanket supplied and replace it with one made from the lead wrapping at the top of a wine bottle.
I find this is more to scale and can then have some movement imparted to it.
The gunner on the caisson will be "bounced" from his seat when a wheel hits a rock during "the escape".
