converting 1/35 WW2 figures into a modern boxing fight vignette.

This is where I am right now, basic construction finished, now sculpting new detail to turn these 1/35 guys into modern boxers.

Using the Masterbox WW2 figures, MiniArt parts and Hornet heads. About 50% putty work completed.

For anyone interested in how to reconfigure 1/35 plastic figures and then resculpt detail in putty created this video to compliment the current build.

Thanks for sharing certainly different from your excellent other projects

Great use of the MB figures ...good video as well ...interesting the size of shapers you use on such small figures

Are you depicting any specific boxers ?

Hi mate, just a simple inbetweener project. Not depicting any specific fighter but I’m using some reference images. Want to do at least one of the fighters with tattoos and have both their faces beaten up a bit.

Hi Marcus - if theyre to be modern day boxers, maybe make the shorts a little longer, closer to the knee..?(y)

Hi, yes I agree. Not finished with the putty work yet. I like to swap ends for holding whilst modelling, yet to do bottom half including their boots.

I’m not doing any specific boxers in this little scene, just something different to keep my eye in as a small vignette.

Almost finished the modelling, just a bit of tidy up to do.
