    Attached is a copy of an excellent University of Birmingham dissertation by David Thomas on the use of pistols of all types by all branches of the British Military during WW1. Photos of revolvers, automatics, etc., are included in the .pdf file. The dissertation was posted by Ian McCollum on ForgottenWeapons.com.
