Rog that would be superb mate (y) it's either of Ken's knights can you do a real slow time one though I'm not very bright
Steve

Which one Rich?

Roger.

Roger - its the Officer Scots Fusilier Guards 1854 (the one you painted a while ago). Tried twice now to paint it and have yet to recover my painting skills (way too long out of practice - by about twenty years!). I'm going to try using a the Grisaille technique that some of the flat painters use. I like the idea of idea of sketching the shade in, them applying washes of colour over it. Tried oils - but I don't have the patience that you have to master them! :arghh:

I'm in between sculpts at the moment and thought it was about time I got my act together and prove to myself I've not lost the ability paint

Go for it Rich, I'd like to see how you get on with Grisaille.

Definitely - its about time I posted some of my work on this forum (been here a year and a half with nothing to show!).

Great that your guiding Steve with with painting flats (I will follow that with great interest). Steve - I've no doubt you will make a great job of it with Rogers help (y)

Roger excellent painting on all these figures but especially admire the painting of the horse in the middle picture, hard to believe it's a flat.

I'll post you one of the knights so that you can do the slow time demo , worth it if it finally gets Steve to paint a flat:D

Cheers Ken

Hi Roger,
I have a couple of days away from the PC (Burns Night Weekend) and you have it all but done and dusted.
Brilliant brushwork to amazing effect, Like Steve my Chasseur has had more coats of paint than the Forth Bridge.......one day.
Good work with a splendid result, very well done.
Cheers,
Keith
