That does look good Kaz. He looks hot, like the subtle sweat on the shirt and the herringbone twill.

Tommi, Thanks a lot for your compliment, I'm really glad you like it!

This is 120mm (1/16), and I bought it from Chris Mrosko, when he closing New World Miniatures brand at the end of last year. I think maybe he still got stocks (I hope).

    OK, 100% Finished, Finally! :)

Love the sculpture and your paint work is brilliant ...it gave him a dreary look very much suited!!

One question.....I'm always amaze at the cloth of the marines in the Pacific campaing, and your rendition is good but noted that above the L pocket the lines of fabric are white while in the rest are darker color...is that intentional? if so what makes you choose that particular effect, is very appealing!!

    Good work Kaz,

I may have to try out some Jo Sonja in the future.

(although a few hundred hours of overdue practice wont hurt me either)

Nice, subtle blending, good efforts over all,

Like the subtle weave effects on the shirt.

    Cheers

Thanks a lot for your comments, Mario, and Jamie!

You mean "herringbone lines"? If so, yes that's intentional. I draw it all of those lines.

Jo Sonja is really good. Also, I sometimes mix them with Vallejo and Andrea recently. That's good too.
