Hi guys, it is a very long while from my last work here posted...so it's time now to post something,
I started this figure more less 3 years ago. After having seen the painting of the same figure by Guy , ( in a very beautiful manner i have to say ) , i liked so much this 90mm from Miniature Alliance that i immediately bought it...
It is almost finished, i'm wondering if let the face " open " or close it with the glasses mask as in a more real helmet style shape..
painted with oils , any critique always welcome of course..

    P. S. i want also to share you what a man with serious problems could do..
I'm also collecting authentic viking artefacts and i had the idea to " sacrify" some of the iron from some of my viking axes, filing ( just a little bit of course ) them , with the powder of the filing and with a little bit of line oil i had a sort of colour with which i painted the axe ....yes i have problems...

Fantastic work and a wonderful idea, personally I'd add the visor the helmet doesn't look quite right without it.

Very nice job on this figure. I also think you should add the visor.

    Great job on this one.
I love the metal work and the shield looks scary realistic to me.

A thought occurs Stefano you may be able to have it both ways if you drill a pair of really fine holes through visor and helmet with a pin of the right sized head (or filed to size) so as to look like a rivet or boss it should be removable to show off the face (y) not sure if it would work not having the figure to check but maybe it would.

Nice Idea Steve , but it is not a metal figure but a resin one and a very friable resin and i don't want to risk ..i would try with patafix if it works..
