The Minuteman

Here is my latest work.
It 'a sculpture by Maurizio Bruno in 75 mm.
Produced, in a limited edition, by the italian association "I Normanni" to finance the exhibition of Monreale.
The painting is acrylic (figure) and oil (flesh).
I also prepared the setting that will host the minuteman.
But ther's still much work to be concluded ...
A special thank to Alberto Fabri for his advice and to Franco Serra for the base.

Very well painted. I like the figure too and wish I could find one to paint, although he looks more the Boston gentleman than a Lexington farmer. I see him setting off to Charlestown and Bunker Hill with Col. Prescott

It's a beautiful figure but when it came out I thought it was too expensive, so I passed on it. I love your take on it though. Absoloutely top-notch painting from head to toe. Looks fantastic.
