    Hi Dear Friends,
I started a new project. The Mercenary from Best Soldiers. A very well know figure, fantastic sculpted by Antonio Zapatero, comes with a feathered hat but I wanted to present this figure a little bit different. So, I dropped the hat and added a bandana (my first sculpting attempt). There are many things to be done but here are the first pictures.
Thanks a lot for watching and if you notice something that needs to be addressed please, let me know.
Your thoughts and feedback is always much appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Zeno :)

Another beauty Zeno. The bandana looks just fine. You've really developed a nice dark moody pallette on this and the other ECW figure you did. The leathers and cuirass look really good as well.

Look forward to seeing you and this guy Sunday

That looks like he's breathing it so very realistic looking, he's certainly pissed off about someone or something. The colour of the cuirass is great and you have done a worthy sculpt of the bandana.

Unfortunately I'm not going to be at our meeting this weekend but I'll be in there next weekend for the FR seminar. I'll bring this guy too.
Hope to see you there, dear friends!

Some progress. Still need to do some clean up and then to do the accessories (sword, hand gun and cape).
Thanks a lot for watching and let me know your thoughts.

Hi Zeno, the change of hat is a good idea and it is very well executed. It seems you are using oils? I love the gold fringes of the sash, it is a very real result. Great work so far.

Thanks Eduardo! Glad that you like it! :)
I used oils on the leather coat, to stain the cuirass and some shadows and tones on the face. The rest is done in acrylics.
The gold fringes are done in acrylics with the last dry brush using a little bit of pure gold printers ink.
Thanks again for the great feedback!
    Cheers,
    Zeno :)

Some progress. I worked the cape and scabbard, as well as the spurs.
I have to do the hand with sword and handgun. Groundwork at the end.
Thanks for watching and let me know your thoughts.
    Cheers,
    Zeno :)
