Hello Guys . This is the figure i have been working on , the last days , Seil Models last Crusader sculpted by Babis Stathis aka "aiantas".

I decided topaint itin a more free scheme with no tight strings attached to historical accuracy , just beacause i want it to !

The helmet has been transformed to represent theone that Richard Lionheart was using at somepoint of his "carrer". The rest is painting with Valejo acrylics and some printers inks.

Ihope you like the result . By the way the figure comes together pretty good , and is a pleasure to paint .

Painting a friends piece, feels somehow ..different . and in last month i painted all Babis latest pieces, like the Eyzon, the Celts ,and now the Crusader . I am really having great fun .

My friend Kosta that's another great piece of painting of yours. Very "alive" colors give to this excellent figure (bravo Babis), a dramatic tone. The base comes to complete the result, which surely impresses the viewer.
I can't wait to see it live next week at Athens Show.

Thanks a lot Jose Luis and Marc. I like reds a lot in all variations, heraldry is not my everyday cup of tea, but i tried what i could do . Its an enjoyable figure and that helps for sure !!!!
