At last! It get something like finished look. And even got bronze medal at Girona. May be it is too big for such small scene, but it is the way I saw it in the beginning.
    It's painted by Oleksandr Lunyakov - http://www.blackpen.de/Figuren_Kings_Shilling.htm

This is just fantastic. I am a fervent supporter of non-battlefield scenes like this one. Actually, I have been long planning to do something like that in a smaller scale, with more village people and military personell around. Very well done and congrats on the medal.

The original models are still belongs to me, so, Costas, if you want copies of their heads I will be glad to help you.
Pekka you are right, but those beige shirts were with www.chen-la.com sign, and I was the only one from Latvia :).

    Very nice work.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is the back story? What's the significance of dropping the coin in the tankard?

    Marcel, John thanks a lot!
The story tells that recruiters of the time, sometimes treated someone with drink and when the person drank it, it appeared that he took not only a drink, but also the "king's shilling". But he still can escape by paying recruiters "smart money" before attestation of Justice of Peace.
