    Hello all,

this is my first attempt at sculpting at 120 mm scale, instead of my usual 1/8 scale. Sculpted in Chavant.

It is my take on a court fool - in a contemporary setting. (The missing hand is part of his back story. )

Feedback welcome as usual. Thanks for looking.

    All the best,
    Elia

Well done! The folds and drapery are simple and look good. The figure looks a little 'long-waisted' but not so much as to be anatomically unusual. Could we see a close-up of just the head?

Looking at your photos, at first I thought his hand was intended to be stuck down in a pants pocket. Having read your text, I now understand. No idea if others got the same initial impression from the photos. Just a suggestion - moving the missing hand away from the pants pocket would eliminate some possible viewer confusion.

    All the best,
    Dan

Thank you for your kind words & your feedback, Dan!
I will try out your suggestion & see how he looks. :)

The aim was for a relaxed, cool look, perhaps a little defiant. :)
I deliberately chose a simple pose - just to try out the scale. And simle enough to try a block mold.

    All the best,
    Elia
