Should be an interesting one to paint in 120mm, but then again a real challenge to do a good job with all that much skin!

Don’t want to paint all that skin.... do her as a superhero or animal in body paint. As an option.

A very clever and classic piece of sculpting...the stuff that all art students are required to sketch at some time during their course
( although, in my case back in the Neolithic, the models were not that pleasing to look at ). As other commentators have already
said it'll be a testing thing to paint, but I can think of a few who would be up for it.

120mm would be the good size
But why did they call her "futana" on the GIF picture !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a futana is a girl with big male attributes in japanese mangas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you have misread the word. She's called FULANA. That means, in portuguese, "some girl".
BTW, the girl with big male atributes is called "FUTANARI".

Exelent sculpture. Challenging for certain. But nothing a airbrush couldn't handle. Personally I'd do it in 120 mm and would sculpt some light night gown on her. Makes it easier to display t home.

Thanks for the translation fmargem, I had a moment of doubt and a hint of stress for a few seconds :nailbiting:
in fact "Fulana" was the initial name given by the sculptor, I preferred "The dancing girl"

"I think you have misread the word. She's called FULANA."

"That means, in portuguese, "some girl"."

In Portuguese (from Portugal), "fulano" (masculin), or "fulana" (feminin), means rather "someone that we don't know the name" (like a John Doe, or a Jane Doe, in English), or "a vague designation of an uncertain person, or someone one doesn't want to name". So yes, "just some girl" in that sense, makes sense.

The sculptor of this piece is a Brazilian guy called José Périclès (according to the kickstarter link provided above by Golem Miniatures), so it makes even more sense.

Anyway, a very nice miniature, congratulations to José and Golem Miniatures (y)

I normally do that stance when I have just finished painting a miniature face and I am happy with it.
Then I get a beer and some chips :)

I also do that stance in front of the mirror after I've taken a shower and I'm balls/ass naked and after I have toweled myself dry, I realize I'm not happy with it; and that's when I start throwing down the beer......:D
Aside from that...….I think this is an excellent sculpture done by someone with some serious talent. If it's a digital computer sculpt I have nothing to say.

Change the hairstyle, and it will make a great 1920's era Art Deco figure a la Erté.
