Review The cheerful artilleryman XV Century from Altores Studio

  1. Ulrich A Fixture

And now the third review of a figure from Altores Studio. Title "The cheerful artilleryman XV Century". One can build it with the wheelbarrow or "only" with the skewer. And you can cover the face. I think the version with the wheelbarrow is more beautiful. The first two photos come from Altores Studio, the rest from me.
    Scale: 75 mm
    Different parts depending on version
    Sculptor: Oleg Pogosyan

This is a fabulous piece and so full of character; what's not to like!

  3. DEL A Fixture

Altores are producing some cracking medieval figures with real potential to create very nice vignettes.
The only concern I have is Oleg Pogosyan's faces in this range, they are all pretty much the same with the 'snubbed' nose look.
It's a pity because other than that the sculpting is spot on.
However if you're looking for a stand alone figure this is really interesting and unusual.
Oda and Rich Sculpts like this.
