    On the contrary Gary, it is indeed a quite a "small" feat! Do not try this at home without 7x Optivisor firmly attached!

    Just for grins, here are pics of the sculpted masters. Sorry for the photo quality. The slides are good, my scanner, less so. The different materials can be worked out from these. The red color on the faces is primer.

    Interesting choice of subject and nice final result.

    As a note the Ritchofens didnt only fly Fokker DR I but scored the most victories in Albatrosses. Lother took over Manfreds Albatross for example and Richthofen flew about a half dozen Fokker DR I in different colour schemes.

    Good reading if one should like to build these double wingy things are Osprey books Fokker DR I Aces and Albatross Aces.
