    news is I have two castings......see pic!
    and I've started painting,I had an opening to get my brushes out this morning,I undercoated on friday,still losts to do mind but coming on.
    Hope you like it? oh! oils and humbrols the eyes I did in acrylics.

    It is a great skill to be able to reproduce a likeness such as this and I imagine harder than working from a blank canvass where there is no point of comparison-very brave to take it on and a great result both with the sculpt and painting...look forward to seeing it at one of the future UK shows,

    you ask about colours,I use artist oils, for the cheek's and nose areas-;cadmium red deep, mauve(red shade),lamp black, hope this of help to you,if you need more info just let me know.
