    Hi Paul,

Excellent sculpting mate. You've captured a very good facial likeness, and the braidwork on the uniform is outstanding.

    Keep up the good work.

    Cheers for your kindness!
They say the only way to improve is to get on with it, I've had a fair amount reservation's.
Ken; your are right about the sculpting material, but there's A+B for the Polrock (jacket),and odds and ends that came to hand, I have moved on from bubble gum and bus tickets, well thats' what the early work looked like..........
There is talk of, if I manage to make it mould friendly? It may be avilable, not sure yet...
    Thanks' all for looking!!!
    Best Regards
    Paul

    Hi All,
after a few pointers from a good mate, and a lot of time looking at this bust,I've started to get a little a£nal about it,after all if it was on the market would I be happy with the sculpting and paint it, and be happy??

So out with the hacksaw and on with some corrective surgery.
A dot of fresh putty, and I hope the revised bust looks better?
I still have a few more details to add, and a bit of cleaning up to do,also it is in 3 parts now, head, torso, stand.
    Best Regards

    Cheers Dan,
kind of you, almost there but not quite,I have the sleeve's to finish, and some braid on the coller.
The polrock (jacket),seem's to confuse most that look at it,it was bit of a pain after a long lay off from sculpting.

Welldone with the correctness Paul.....it added that "dimension" which, when you look back at it, you do realize that it was needed!!

    Wise decision mate!!

    Paul,

It's the relentless search for perfection that drives us to excel, and you certainly have excelled with this bust. Your changes are small but very significant. This will looking amazing once painted.

Incredible, such strong facial features. This bust will look fantastic when
painted. The rendering of the hair, beard, facial hair is just so skillfully
    done. Truly beautiful,

    rick
