Funnily enough Huw the round figures are really my roots.
I primed this ages ago with a view to making a start on it but was a bit intimidated by actually how much there is to paint on it. There's a lot there.
Anyway I'm up and running with it now and it's also a Greek subject which is totally coincidental.
Unfortunately I'm back at work on Friday but now I've got this far I'll be continuing with it when I come home again.

Tis a flat and what a lot of work on there , great start ...now .......you have at least 1 day before you go back to the seafarer life for a while so.........get those brushes working !

That's it for painting now. Today will be spent tidying up the mess I've created on my painting desk and packing.
I've got some good reading material to take back for breaks between rowing so I should be well inspired when I get home.
