    Hello!
Now I began to make a base for 90mm figures from Pegaso.
I wanted to do a large base for Crusader, with imitation of saracen castle ruins.
    I used a homemade base size 70 * 70 * 70mm
Base faced with stones made of cork mat from the supermarket.

The stand is protected by masking tape. Stones primed with automotive primer from an aerosol container.

    Thank you.
    I continue ...

Fragments of the wall - also from a cork mat. To increase the thickness, I glued it into two layers.
Horizontal surface, I dusted crushed brick and cork with glue.

And, I forgot to write earlier .... The texture of the old stone attached to a stopper with a knife. On a flat surface can be easily separated into small pieces, seeking relief.

I love the base and can't wait to see how you paint the Crusader in your very distinctive style. I'm following this thread with great interest and anticipation.

Very nice job on the wall and the base. You have given me ideas about a project of mine. Take a photo of the crusader from behind. I think that the wall is hiding much or the rear.
