    Hi All,
I would like to plug www.thebase2b.co.uk pF's own "Chippy" (Gordon). I purchased this quality base to compliment my latest bust acquisition at Telford from Chippy and what a little beauty.
The timber is seasoned, perfectly finished, unique if you get the driftwood range as you will never get 2 the same and cut true.
Chippy is a really nice guy and so easy to get on with and what this guy does'nt know about timber is not worth knowing. I had a good look at his range on the stand and it's all quality, quality and quality again. Why not check out the above link to Chippy's website. Priced at £5.50 for this piece I was well pleased. I realize this is a website for figure modeling. But when Gordon
"Chippy" Wells name was mentioned regarding the beautiful
quality wood bases that he offers, I thought it would be OK, if
I chime in here. Gordon made me a very beautiful "pedestal"
base for one of my armored car models, that was mostly
scratch built. And the base really is of such top notch quality.
So I'll put a photo of the base and the model below, hoping
you'll excuse the fact that it is not a figure model. The model was
done in 1:32nd scale. The Miami Jayhawk
