Thanks so much Nap and Mike. Ground work base was AK desert sand (these pastes are easier than my old home brew of spackle,white glue and acrylic paint) adding fine sand /rock and a few different shades of paint(Tamiya) and highlights (AK and Vallejo). Base colors for the battledress and great coats-airbrushed Lifecolor dark British Uniform first then stippled AK British Uniform,AK British Khaki,AK Green brown, deepest shadows AK Grim Brown and highlight in varying degrees AK Green Brown +AK Decomposed Flesh...some filters were applied in places to shift to a "greener look" (AK No.1 Light Green) . I molded a wheel/tire to create an additional spare plus one to create the tire tracks (which was done in magic sculpt to take the impression better then blending in with The AK Desert sand acrylic paste )

Oh WOW, the detailing is superb, not to mention the base.
So inspirational to see work of this quality.

Here's one I just finished for TFB miniatures -75mm Battle of Trenton

He's absolutely fantastic, so much detail, including the holes in his trousers and the damaged shoe.
I have one on order and I looking forward to painting him.

Just got the “Jopson” head to make a complete set.
Got some ideas for some subtle changes so will see how they turn out.
