    Hi all guys,

I just finished a 150mm bust figure painting for my friend. :)
In this time, I decided to change paints, and I used vellejo's model colors with a little josonja's artist acrylic paints and few oil paints(for black color).
I hope you like and have a gd day. :)

    All my best regards,

    MJ,Kim.

WOW! One of my favorites from Mr. Ishii as well! I love the paints you've thown at this one for sure! One small point, I think the hat you used needs to have the white cords on the shirt and jacket to be correct. I don't blame you for going with a splash of color, but I'm certain the second hat provided with the kit (the one with the reclining skeleton, sorry not certain which regiment that is, I'm sure some of these Napolionic gurus can help me out) is meant for the green cords, but these cords were white when using just the skull and cross bones. Small point, it's your piece to paint as you see fit, and you did a simply amazing job!!!!

    Hi!

I think you have done a great job. Many have painted this bust and it has all to often come out looking like a porclain doll. I think you have avoided that very well and made a realistic rendition of th Hussar.

    Cheers

I agree with the rest, this is awesome. The flesh tones aren't overdone which is very nice. The colours of the uniform with the green stand out for great effect, and your blacks are very nicely done. Love it.
