As i promised Tony here is the latest pic of my guy from Long Tan. It still has a long way to go to be finished but its getting there

not quite of the same high standard as Tony's fine work but i am happy with how he's coming on and i can see an improvment in my work which i guess is all one can ask for and most importantly it pleases me and thats all that really counts :)

    G'day Ian,

    Good work mate.

I'd like to see a few more close ups when he's finished.

    Cheers

Ian,looking good.I'd like like to see some better pics though. We could have a Nam-off on our hands.
Also Ian your comments about seeing an improvement in your own work and pleasing yourself mate is what it's all about~can't agree with you more.Well done.
Having said that I think you should please me more with some better pics!

Did a bit more work on this fella last night and hopefully tonight i'll get a chance to take some closer pics and post them.

tell ya what, i seem to be finding it harder and harder to set aside time at the desk. Empire Hobbies is sucking up more and more of my free time. with the lose of Seil to the modelling world i have spent hours and hours looking for and emailing new suppliers that are reasonably easy to deal with and it is the start of hobby show season here in Oz so that takes a heck of a lot of time then when i do sit at the desk i'm also passing on what little experience i have to my much better 1/2 who is fast becoming a better figure modeller than i will ever be. But the family that models together stays together

Great work Ian. I agree with you and Mark. As long as we are happy with our own work.....thats all that counts.
