Hi all. My buddy showed me a Thanos bust a friend 3d printed. He would like me to paint it but I can't figure out the paint mix properly. I'm thinking of priming it with Mr. Surfacer 1500 black as it'll do double duty as primer and pre-shade. For the base coat does a violet sound right? what about highlights? maybe a red-violet? I'm thinking acrylic base coat and oils for finishing?
Any ideas on paint mixes? I got this off the internet and this is what I'd like to do.

The bust my friend has is not a reproduction of the one in the photo or any other bust. The photo is what I got off the internet to show what kind of skin tone I'd like to achieve.
    Thanks,
    Gary

    Hi Gsry

I would do a flesh mix using a purple or violet then use ink washes in various blue/ purple .....just a suggestion

    Sorry can't be more helpful

    Happy benchtime
