When I first saw this figure I knew it was a "Must Have" and my feelings were correct. A beautiful sculpted figure by Pegaso that has been a real enjoyment to paint. All the parts fir perfectly upon assembly and painting. Here are the begginning stages of the Templar.

I always do my figures and asseble as I paint to ensure all the detail is painted. The cape sections have been attached and the arm section.

I haven't done the final weathering yet and usually wait until I get the groundwork done and use the same color to slightly weather the bottom of the cape.

Here the weathering begins as I finalize the painting of the base groundwork.

Closer views of the shading and weathering of the cape.

The base is almost completed with only some dried grass to add.

Here is a test fit of the Templar to the base.

The only thing to finish now is the sword which will be dry by tomorrow and the Templar will be fastened to the base at the same time the sword is.

All comments are welcome.

Thanks for looking

Guy I like him a lot. Nice weathering on the cloak. I like the white too :)

Guy,

Finally you done it. I really like this one. I'm with Pat, to keep the darker colours a little bit lighter.
In my opinion it is one of your best works what i have seen till today.
(but i'm not so long in figure painting as you know).
Your base will do the figure justice. It looks very good.
So keep posting when he is coming to finish.

Beautiful work. I love the fact that the weathering does not seem "forced" or fake - it really looks like he's just ridden across Judea!

Historically accurate, realistic presentation.

Kudos!!
