This 54mm Anrdea miniature has been in my stash for a long time. I think I can finally do him justice.
The base is scratch with a couple of Verlinden palm trees. More to follow...

Excellent start and the rail line really sets it off. Personally, (IMHO) I think the palm trees somewhat 'overpower' the piece due to their size and it looks much better I think with just the railway line. A personal choice only and the rest of it is looking tremendous.

    Hi Jack

That's a classic release from Andrea , like the way your painting the camel blanket

The palm trees are a nice idea but I agree with Gary but like him my thoughts only ......good work on the Railway line

    Thanks for sharing

    Happy benchtime

Top stuff. The railway is genius as it really ties in the historical context. Ditching the palm tree was a good move as it added nothing and overpowered the base.
This is turning into a super project. (y)

Excellent work, Jack. The painting of the camel, groundwork & railway line look outstanding, very clean & precise.
Kudos for a very tidy workbench too!

Great progress, Jack! It just occurred to me-have you thought about recording this for your YouTube channel?

    Prost!
