WIP Critique Sword of Dawn, Big chil creative

    here is my take on this great bust from BCC, quite tricky to assemble but a joy to paint !
    i decided to interchange the 2 shoulder pads as i found they were following better the movements of the arms.
    as usual i'm painting her all with acrylicsfrom the Scale75 range.

    here are the first pictures i took yesterday after a 2 hours session.

    looking great, like the contrast between the blue highlights in the hair and the flesh tones. Hadn't seen this figure before, whoever sculpted it obviously knows a bit about Japanese swordsmanship as she is caught right in the process of pushing the tsuba with her thumb to "unlock" the sword from the scabbard, a lovely piece.

    here are my progresses so far ... I know that samurai armors were not made of metal but ... this is a fantasy bust so ... why not ?
