    Thanks very much Derek. I'm not sure if it says so in "The Bible" but selecting a well designed and engraved flat is half the battle, it does make life much easier when it comes to daubing the paint on.

    Great painting , and its double sided as well , I like the combination of the blue with yellow facings .

    Waht are you sing with the water soluable oils ..I find W&N blending medium very helpful

    Thank you Marc, if there's a chance they will be framed I only paint one side. The plan is to base this with some others like a round figure so both sides are painted.
