    Dear all,

Just completed this single figure yesterday. This hungry fellow basically warming up some nice food for supper where the rat is willing to risk it's life just to get a sniffed. The figure is an old Verlinden POW with Hornet head. Base is from Miniature Alliance and rat is just a blob of putty... Sorry the quality of the photoes are not great... time to get a better camera

I try the fantasy painting style on historical figure where I painted with illumination both for the figure and surrounding, on a late night. The overall painting is quite dark. The uniform had a lot of transition tone from reddish green hue, which basically reflection from the coal and fire from the fuel drum, and the coat finished with very dark bluish field gray. Groundwork also playing with different illumination effect. Anyway, try some new style, feel free to comment and criticize....

Hi Folks, thanks for your encouraging feedback as I always a bit skeptical initially on a historical figure. Will try more in this venture....
