I just started to paint this beautiful bust sculpted by Carmine Giuliano for a few friends
that you can see here
the color is wet, however, I outlined the volumes and made ​​a few shades, including shaving effect The road is still long, I will try, as in my power, to make up for the wonderful paintings by Alex Ross who inspired Carmine (THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THIS WONDERFUL GIFT)

It is a strking face. I think that the highlights are to white for me.but that is a personal decision.

Nice work so far skin tones already looking good, only thing I would say is should Superman have any shaving shadow or stubble as I would have thought he could not shave with a human razor as it would break. Perhaps he got brainiac to shrink him visited the bottle city of Kandor and got one from there then lost it hence the shadow...Haha LOL.
