    Hi Mark,
yep, creeping up on your goal.

Looking good so far, isn't it just great how that last 10% of details causes almost as much aggravation (if not more) as the first 90% of the project! ;)

    Cheers

PS, thanks for the cheer on about the wedding sculpt!

Jamie .... the last 5% has killed many a kit :( Thanks for dropping in :)

    Stu .... Many thanks :)

    Whether to weather .......

After a quick email discusion with Stuart I'm forging ahead with the weathering, snow and some ice will complete this ( and a sling for the rifle ) the base is made and just needs some mud/snow to top it off......

Very close to finishing now :)

Just the right amount of dirt there Mark. Are you going for just a wet look on the boots?

    Hi mark
    great great painting job
Is it not too dangerous to let the rifle loaded direct to the stomach??
I don't find the website for those Stormtroopers figures or a dealer, have you?
    thanks

Christian .... Yes the rifle is very dangerous but he's too cold to care. And thank you!

Tony ..... Thanks again :) Almost there! ;)

Ands thanks for posting the link Carl ..........

    Snow Business .........

Slapped a bit of MS mixed with pastels onto the base and made some foot prints and general mess, used Aero filler ( microballoons for the main snow on the base and baking soda for the fresh bits and the snow on our fellow. Paper sling on rifle.

some more snow on the Greatcoat I think

    :)

I knew that there was a cunning plan. He does look cold and unhappy, very well done looking forwards to seeing him on Sat.

    Nicely finished Mark.

weathering effects are one of those things where 'less is more', so your handling of this is excellent.

Just enough for a miserable sentry, not so much that is over the top.

    I can only go (y)

    Cheers
