This is the latest offering from Stormtroopers Miniatures. It represents a Royal Horse Artillery Officer. Sculpted By Maurice Corry, the scale is 120mm and cast in fifteen light grey resin parts, some lead foil and wire for cutting and connecting straps, tassels etc. All parts are well protected in a bubble wrap pocket and contained in a sturdy box along with an A4 colour painting guide. Additional painting reference can be taken from the colour box art from the hands of the very talented Ignazzu.

The photo on the box in this open box review is B&W as I had an early casting a few weeks before the box art photos were available.

I have laid out the photos below for your close up inspection of the parts. Yet again Stormtroopers have produced another quality product in terms of detail and exceptional casting with only a minimal of clean-up, block removal and light sanding, no air bubbles were found on any part of the figure kit.

Front and rear views of the one piece torso shows the detail that Maurice has sculpted into this piece and further emphasised in the reproduction of the casting.

Three close-up views of the head and face are visible showing the detail in the facial structure. All other parts of the kit can be seen. There is lead wire and lead foil included in the kit to cut and make all the additional fittings.

Conclusion: Another fine release and fine addition to the growing range of figures and busts from Stormtroopers. Again a piece sculpted by a well-known long established sculptor. All parts are cast to a very high standard and there is a very minimal clean-up of parts. This should prove very popular to most Napoleonic enthusiasts. Highly Recommended

Great figure. I'm so glad that Maurice is giving us such a nice selection of Crimean War subjects.
