    Hi all!

Well the dust has just about settled after Euro so onwards and upwards!

My next Piece for Stuart is 120/6 Kurt "Panzer" Meyer feb/mar 1943!

this is pretty much the picture it's based on ( from Bundesarchiv )

The kit has the usual minimal casting points and seams and was cleaned up in about an hour

Here are the 5 pieces of the figure on the supplied base in resin ready to go and get washed... primer will be the usual Halfords-esque auto primer

Mark .... Thanks :) and I have no life mate, hence the output ;)

    Carl ... cheers :)

    David ... likewise :) and thanks :)

    Ken ... :) hehe

    Jon .... ;) lol

Soooo ..... After a fair bit of mucking about priming ( I always try and do 2 or 3 pieces when I do a primer spray) ( Yorkshire born and bred ) :) I got some paint on Mr. Meyers head...

Still a couple of hours at least softening the transitions and then hair, stubble and Tash to add :)

Eyes will be the last thing!

    hello
looks very panzer-meyer-ish.it an difficult one the white snow drab is not easy to paint.
iam looking forward to see it done.its certainly one i would buy any time.
like it but i would surely chicken out an paint in the reversible camouflage outside-which is more easy
    cheers

Marc ... thanks :) I like the simple pose on this one :)

Markus ... Thank you! The winter one piece he is wearing was I believe reversible white/ field grey ... I'm inclined to do field grey but white would look good too :)

Face is almost finished I think :) some work around the eyes, beard and the back of the head still to do ....

    Excellent start Mark.
The tone of the face is wonderful.
The color of the uniform was also liked.
I'm looking forward to progress of your work.

Well-painted face Mark! He looks chilly enough for a winter uniform!

But I must say I'm not really fond of the way Stormtroopers sculpted the upper lip; specifically the two 'caves' at the corner of the mouth actually... Rest of the face shows a good likeness.

Adrian ... Many thanks :) The top lip is very much in Stuarts style, which I suppose is the curse/blessing of individual style... :)

    Marcel ... Thanks again :)

    One piece winter suit .....

I decided on the field grey version of it ! :) based with AV Olive Drab, mid with Life Colour Field Grey 2 and high was Mid with some AV Light Flesh, I'm starting to like where this is going, some work still to do though. Will be weathering the lower half of Mr. Meyer quite a lot :)

    Hi Mark,

Great to meet you at Euro, really enjoying the thread. Bought some acrillics and having a go at the moment with one of my own figures, so trying to pick up some tips. Great painting, all the best,

    Rob
