    Tiny Leather sbs ....

    A. plain paper
    B. A brown base ( Burnt Umber )
    C. GW Snakebite leather
    D. GW Blazing orange
    E. GW Scorched Brown
    F. GW Chaos black
    G. Re work colours C, D and E to highlight cracks
    H. Re establish the black to represent the finished surface of the leather

Basically the base colour of brown and the final finish of black can be exchanged for a variety of colours, Leathers are made in various flesh/brown and grey colours and the outer finished skin can also be in a rainbow of hues, Mainly I work on the idea that it is organic and so has a certain translucency... KindaThing :)

And I have finalised the base, AB out later and get this finished for the Northern Model Show on Sunday!

    :)

Damn, that's a good looking figure Mark.

The boots may be a bit clean, but perhaps that's a step you haven't got to yet.

    Looks great Mark.

Tony, boots don't get very dirty on frozen ground... but perhaps you wouldn't know that in Perth :D:D:D

    Finished!.....

Spent a few hours to get this finished last night, the base I kept simple and just added a bit of snow :)

Lots of fun painting this, though I think I need to work on my AB skills ;)

Thanks for going to the trouble to demonstrate your leather technique, I sound like I'm talking to a dominatrix.
