    Cheers Dan,
I like flitting between scales, a couple more 54mm's are in the pipeline before painting "Lazybones", as they say variety is the spice of life
I'm just cleaning up and filling the Hussar of Husaren-Regt. von Zieten (Brandenburgisches) Nr.3 by Chota Sahib. I'll post some pics here but I probably won't start painting until next leave.

    Roger,
nice work. I like the weathering. Ties him in nicely to the groundwork!

    Hi Jay,
Thanks, most of the weathering was done with weathering powders I picked up at a model railway exibition.

    Hi Roger

nice little figure. And he not so "clean" as many other soldiers of WWI. The weathering is super, but what are the weathering powders you mentioned?

Hi Ulrich, the weathering powders are best described as coloured dust, like you get from pastels. They come in packets of different earth tones. I apply with a dry soft brush.
Hope this makes sense, I'll have a look on the web to find them and let you know.

Thank you Kenneth & Xenofon, I'm looking forward to painting something a little more colourful but it is quite daunting also. :)
