The new 1/6th bust from Stuart at Stormtrooper, sculpted by Carl Reid has arrived and as I was prepping the Dolman 17th Lancer I did then both at the same time to save some paint from the Halfords white primer rattle can.

What a super bust it is, beautifully sculpted and with very minimal cleaning up.

I shall be painting the 17th Lancer first so this one will have to wait a bit.

Glad you got yours, are you going to paint it or keep it in your GA and then pop him in a garage sale in a few months time.;):p or get Jimbo to make him into a full bust for you?

Geoff

Cracking piece.

I have the CCGI Trumpeter bust by Stu with is also fabulous. Carl certainly captures the 'feel' of these favoured soldiers really well.

Will be following this one closely. It's enroute but takes about 10 days to cross the pond. Can't wait to get my hands on it. I have the trumpeter as well. They should look good side by side.

Great sculpt with lots of detail. Looking forward to more. :)

Cheers,
Ken

Looking forward to seeing this one develop Geoff. It must be a world record, from release to the bench in the blink of an eye!

Neal

It is a lovely bust Ken, the detail amazing but then it is big.

Mine is only been primed and will now be left until I have completed the 17th Lancer.

Cheers
Geoff
