The flag pole is made from a wooden toothpick, primed with Humbrol as is the rest of the figure. I tried to use masking tape to get the perfect spacing between the colored stripes but the manipulation was too risky for the upper part of the flag (which you don't see in the pictures) so I finally painted it without any guide, and same for the lower part

That looks really great , love the horse colour and the figure painting ...but that standard is spot on , looks almost embroidered
